STORY

I’M SINEAD, AND I’M SO GLAD YOU’RE HERE.

I design and make everything you see on the site at my bench.

Aka my favourite place.

When I first got into jewellery I had a notebook made with 'Shiny People' on the front (because I'm boujie like that). And because I knew I wanted to make it my job one day and I thought it was the perfect name.

Half because 'Shiny' is a nickname from one of my oldest friends, and half because I make shiny things for people who'll love them.

A few years later, that name became my business – so don't let anyone tell you manifesting doesn't work.

I SPENT TWENTY YEARS IN CORPORATE

I worked for brands like Instagram, Microsoft and Match Group, but behind the scenes I was spending as much time as possible learning about gemstones and jewellery.

So over the years I took courses in silversmithing, stone setting and wax carving. I was making more and more for friends, and eventually started selling my work alongside my corporate job.

FAST FORWARD TO TODAY

But now I’ve left corporate life behind to focus on jewellery full time. My days are spent cycling to my studio in London where I make all your pieces, or nipping into Hatton Garden to meet with gem dealers so I can source you the best stones. I can’t believe I get to do this every day 💙
